We’ve been working hard to create a membership program for our wonderful patrons, fans, and supporters—and it’s finally here!
The Popcorn Club
The Popcorn Club is a new subscription-based membership for the Historic Liberty Theater, run through Patreon.
For just $6 a month, members receive:
One free movie ticket every month
Free popcorn (of course!)
Access to exclusive video podcasts
Opportunities to vote on special screenings
Invitations to private events
There are multiple membership tiers (including a free one) with even more great perks. It’s truly the best way to support the Liberty Theater while staying connected to everything happening here.
The Liberty Belongs to the Community
The Historic Liberty Theater is a charitable not-for-profit organization. Despite the name, we still need to make enough to keep the lights on! Being a not-for-profit simply means that our board of directors and the City of Murphysboro don’t earn money from the theater. We’re all volunteers who serve because we care—because this is how we give back to our community.
The Liberty belongs to you... Our audience, our supporters, and our neighbors. We want your feedback, your participation, and your pride of ownership. Our mission is to make the Liberty a true hub for culture, great movies, live music, and unforgettable events.
That’s exactly why we created the Popcorn Club: to give you a fun, meaningful way to support local cinema and help the Liberty thrive.
