During the Big Muddy Monster Festival, guests can experience a full lineup of cryptid researchers, authors, investigators, and eyewitness speakers inside the historic Liberty Theater; the very same theater locals once frequented in the 1970s while the legend of the Big Muddy Monster was unfolding across Murphysboro.
Suggested $3 Donation per person at the door (children get in free with parents)
• This event is free but we do suggest a small cash donation at the door to keep the festival running year after year.
• The Liberty Theater concession stand will be open and serving pop, candy, and popcorn.
• Seating is general admission (first come first serve).
